Beyond the autumn and the return to school of thousands of little ones and others not so little, the month of September brought us the return to the international fairs of the PPA team.
After 2 years away from the biggest decoration events in the world, there wouldn’t certainly exist a city in the world with more glamour, charm and elegance that could host this return. We talk about the city of love, the city of Light, the city that proudly displays one of the 7 Wonders of the modern World. Yes, we talk about Paris.
At the beginning of the month, Paris hosted one of the most important international interior design fairs – Maison & Objet, which expanded and spread through the heart of the city by the name of Paris Design Week. It was the latter that presented the S. Bernardo stamp, through the exhibition “MADE IN PORTUGAL naturally”, promoted by AICEP Portugal. The project called “Metamorphosis”, that took place at Galerie Joseph, aimed, above all, to promote the Portuguese product and what is best done in Portugal.
In both events, quality and excellence were the keywords, being everything very well taken care of and brilliantly presented. In addition to this, the vitality and affluence of visitors should also be highlighted, those even surpassing the expectations of those who were present, with all the excitement being evident with the presentations of new trends and artistic lines, “dormant” for more than 2 years.
According to our special envoys to Paris, beyond the obvious honour of having our products exhibited in one of the most mediatic artistic centres in the world, this trip served to visit some clients, whom, due to the consequences of the pandemic, we had not been with for a long time; to establish new business relationships and expand the contacts’ network. Furthermore, it was a tremendous source of inspiration for future projects and creations, as it is always important to be aware of new trends, even more so when we have not been in touch with this type of events for so long… Quoting our designer Márcia Brilha, the fair triggered an authentic “bubbling up of ideas”, ideas that we hope to put into practice in the next PPA collections.
